The Managed Clinical Network for Skin Cancer is committed to improving the quality of care for Skin Cancer patients throughout the West of Scotland.
In order to achieve this we will do the following:
- Create and utilise effective communication links between healthcare professionals and other stakeholders in the area.
- Involve patients and carers in our planning.
- Work to improve patient pathways.
- Develop, update and implement guidelines and protocols using current national and international standards to ensure the highest possible care for the patients we serve.
- Seek to be a forum for innovation and support local innovative initiatives happening in the West of Scotland that will benefit patient care through appropriate changes to services.
- Facilitate ongoing audit and research that will ensure equity of care and improve the lives of our patients for the longer term.
