The Managed Clinical Network for Skin Cancer is committed to improving the quality of care for Skin Cancer patients throughout the West of Scotland.
In order to achieve this we will do the following:
- Create and utilise effective communication links between healthcare professionals and other stakeholders in the area.
- Develop, update and implement guidelines and protocols using current national and international standards to ensure the highest possible care for the patients we serve.
- Seek to be a forum for innovation and support research happening in the West of Scotland that will benefit patient care through appropriate changes to services.
- Facilitate ongoing audit that will ensure equity of care and improve the lives of our patients for the longer term.
- Work closely with colleagues across Scotland on guidelines and standards of care with a Once for Scotland aim where possible.
